Sugar steals calcium.

It is very usual hearing that sugar produces caries to the teeth. Most people believe that caries are only produced because of the simple contact of sugar with the teeth. Actually, what happens is this:

Sugar is made only of pure sucrose. To get to that state sugar has suffered several chemical transformations, like the cooking of their juices at great length, then the rest of the vital components that come together has been destroyed or eliminated, in a wise proportion in the composition of cane sugar.

Between these destroyed or eliminated elements, there is a particular interest for vitamins and mineral substances, for instance the oxide of calcium. Across the long process of production and refinement of sugar, the sucrose has been under a systematic isolation from these substances, disdaining this way the wise composition that nature has given to the cane’s sugar, and which makes it so healthy and easily assimilated.

Sugar, although chemically was pure sucrose, is a dead artifitial product, lacking in mineral salts and vitamins. Both of them are really necessary for the normal growth and development of men, and especially for children’s.

ASSIMILATION WAY.

The sucrose, once ingested (either sugar, caramels or candies) immediately looks for joining with the mineral salts which lacks in and it finds it on blood, particularly the calcium. That is how it appears the calcium sucrate, a substance that the organism can not take profit, then being eliminated by the intestine, kidneys, etc. This way the organism is deprived of the calcium that the blood normally includes, suffering the consequences: teeth caries, rickets, bones flabbiness, osteoporosis, etc.

Men of modern sciences, when verifying the damages that sugar causes, have loudly alerted, baptizing this product with the nickname of the “calcium thief” of the human organism. Sugar (as same as products with sugar composition) easily ferments at digestive zones, forming gases and acids. And since it is proved that the lack of calcium is made by the acid fermentations in the digestive tube, we see the way that sugar causes the lack of minerals in human bodies.

Besides, sugar is not assimilated as it by the organism, but it needs a complicated process of digestion for being split into simple sugars: glucose and fructose. In addition of causing the lack of calcium in the organism, sugar (if it is excessively consumed) reloads the liver, predisposes to obesity and is the most frequent and common origin of diabetes.

REPLACING SUGAR BY HONEY.

Sugar must be eliminated from the human feeding. Fortunately, the nature puts into our hands a harmless, noble and healthy product which efficiently replaces it: HONEY.

Honey is an organic and living food. And it is not a dead substance like sugar. Unlike sugar, honey includes calcium which nourishes and strengthens the teeth and skeleton; iron, it favors the production of red globules on blood, fighting against anemia. It also includes vitamins, which are indispensable substances for the right functioning of the human organism; besides it has phosphorus, which is a tonic for the nervous system; glucose and fructose, which do not need transformation by the digestive juices for being assimilated; enzymes, sucrose and proteins, etc.

Honey, whose beneficial properties were empirically known since the most ancient times, can replace sugar at each one of its applications, because not only provides with energy to the body but also with vital principles of great worth for all the processes of the human organism.
