Is bee honey good?

If you are going to sweeten your drinks or recepies, you´d better used bee honey, always remembering that it also contains sugars that will provide us with calories. However, those sugars included into bee honey are less harmful for the pancreas than white sugar.

Besides of fructosy, glucose and water, bee honey contains other natural sugars, minerals, enzymes, vitamins and amino acids.

Some studies made at Wisconsin University have demonstrated that bee honey varies in its nutrients content, depending on the region where it is made. It includes a varied rank of B vitamins like Riboflavine, Pantotenic acid, Niacine, Tiamine and Piridoxine, C vitamin, calcium, magnesium and potasium.

There is some evidence that glucose included on honey, helps with the absorption of calcium and zinc minerals.

The colour and taste of bee honey do not come from bees, but the source where bees extract nectar.
